Opportunity Snapshot

This position offers you the opportunity to not only design control valves incorporating high levels of performance & reliability for severe service applications -- applications involving high pressure, flow or temperature where the cost of failure is many times the cost of the solution -- but also to work with a financially stable global industry leader.

CCI has earned the reputation as the "Severe Service Solution Provider with a 40-year legacy of solving customers' unique valve application problems with our patented DRAGĀ® technology and focus on engineering leadership & innovation. Serving major customers in the global energy and power markets, we are poised for big growth, both organically and via acquisitions, and plan on continuing our upward trajectory in spite of a recessionary economy.

As Design Engineer, you will be assigned to one of our key verticals: oil & gas, fossil, or nuclear power and work on projects containing everything from simple design iterations to 20 or more complex designs. No doubt about it, this is a busy job and you will flex your mental agility in this fast-paced environment while taking ownership of the entire process from design concept to final production.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will ideally have some hands-on design experience with a background in fluid dynamics. We're looking for a professional who can learn quickly (we'll provide training opportunities) and has the interpersonal savvy to provide technical support leadership to our customers and collaborate with our sister companies and cross-functional groups throughout the organization.

What Else You Will Bring to the Table

The ideal candidate will have a BSME and about 2-3 years of experience, although we will consider diverse combinations of education and experience (such as an advanced degree and relevant internship experience). In addition to the qualifications detailed above, you'll need:
